Hi STM family,
is there a way to get credit cards from US banks if you are not a us citizen? I have a few llc's but all I managed to get is debit cards.
spending 7 figures on traffic every year I am leaving a lot of money/perks on the table (cash backs, points, airline miles ...) by using debit cards/wires, also my birth country sucks for this (and the currency exchange fees adds up).
I have used payment services where they give you cc's and you wire them money but it's the same as just getting a line of credit with traffic sources and wiring them money (no perks).
Cheers
Why not go for a secured credit card? Cards issued against deposits.
A Credit card is typically issued based on your credit ratings within the country. A secured card bypasses this requirement.
However, check in advance about the availability of perks. While you may get the card - you may not be eligible for all the perks as most will have "Must be a legal US citizen" as the first line in the terms.
Thanks for the reply, yeah the secured credit card is about the same as a debit card from what the bank told me it solves the daily limit a debit card would have, but I am back where I started with no cashbacks/points/lounge access ect.
I am curious what other high spenders non-us citizens are using?
