App installs on GOOGLE
Hi,
is there a way to use google as a traffic source for app installs with an affiliate ad redirect tracking like hasoffers?

I used to promote apps through google ads quite heavily, few years ago. I stopped doing that when the large Chinese spenders left the market. Back then I had no problems when using a standard affiliate tracker, I think I was using
Voluum at that time. I don't think google has a big problem with trackers, especially when the click get's redirected directly to google play or app store. Is that what you are planning to do?
There could be problem with the usage of simple landing pages, that they call "bridge pages", these often get rejected and can result in an account ban.

there is no option to add a s2s tracking when you select the app in google adwords interface. do you have a solution for that?

If you want to use their default app install promotion, you won't be able to track in a standard way. What I was doing was creating standard traffic campaigns and simply looking to the app store and promoting these on their display network.
If you want to use the app install promo feature, you need to with the app owner to see what the options are, I think it's doable in some way, but never did it myself. I know that for large affiliates, some app owners created their own app clones, so they could promote that one... but that would require a lot of volume and in many cases it's not possible at all.

There is a way for sure, but it has to be done in a different way.. standard affiliate trackers use redirects and google app campaigns won't let you setup a custom link, so it must be something else, that is incorporated with google.
I tried to find something, do you know anything about Firebase? Check this: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6366292

Btw, for this to work with firebase or anything else, the app owner has to support it too. Did you try to talk with them already? The thing is, they have to identify the traffic as "yours" somehow, so they need to have the proper setup in place. So, it's pointless to look into firebase in case they do not use it.
