Looking for aliexpress alternatives.
Hello,
can anyone suggest aliexpress alternatives? It's banned like tiktok in India. I just hope and pray that they don't ban alibaba! I want to try out spocket. Does anyone have experience with it or can you suggest anything better?

Banggood, gearbest and dhgate are also quite popular.
uDroppy is worth checking out as well. Their shipping times are pretty impressive compared to aliexpress.

@vortex Thank you!
Quick update - Just checked udroppy. It looks super awesome.
What you think about cjdropshipping and fulfillman? I am a bit wary of cjdropshipping because they are based in China, so may entail a future ban. I am checking fulfillman too. I think udroppy will beat them all! Hope they aren't based in China, Lol.
A good thing is that we can get in touch with suppliers from Alibaba through private chat, so a future ban won't affect much if you have an established base of trusted suppliers.
Also, still want your thoughts on spocket. Thank you very much again!
P.S. One more question
You have any idea on the best dropshippers for India and South America (especially Brazil) because the market is huge and the trafffic is extremely cheap.

uDroppy is based out of Hong Kong originally, if I remember correctly, but as per their site have locations in the US/UAE and Shanghai.
I would expect any dropshipping company like this to have most of their staff/operation based in China tbh, that's where most of the manufacturers are. An HK-based company is a good middleground at least but not sure if items would ever come from HK. Best case they would come from Shenzhen port, one of the biggest ports and no one would send items through to HK from China when Shenzhen is right there on the border...
That being said, I wouldn't based decisions here on some future possible ban. What do you mean by a ban anyway? I don't quite follow how banning of AliExpress (website access I presume) affects your dropshipping.

Thanks for sharing! Ban means website access and paying them. I am in India and the government here recently "banned" access to aliexpress on grounds of national security, so payment isn't working either.

Ahh, I see.
Well, you would be fine with things like UDroppy. They aren't really like AliExpress and initially started out as the sourcing middleman I believe -- chances are if something got in the way, you could just organise payment separately by some other means and continue as usual. Website access is of course trivial using a VPN.

Absolutely!
If it isn't for covid and travel limitations and risks, I would suggest to go to China in person to meet with manufacturers and purchase samples directly. I don't know about India, but ordering samples to be sent by courier to Canada costs an arm and a leg - and if you're ordering a few different products each from several different manufacturers, the costs may be comparable to making a trip there yourself. And you can get a better feel of how "legit" a manufacturer is by visiting them in person. You can also form solid relationships that way compared to just connecting online.
Also, still want your thoughts on spocket. Thank you very much again!

I've never used spocket myself, and have no experience doing ecom in either India or South America, so can't give advice in these areas. But google is your friend!
For example:

For spocket reviews - you can find them on reddit. Just google "spocket review reddit".
