Not sure if I should have created a new thread similar to others but haven't found answers to my questions anyway. So, I've completed the guide thoroughly repeating the steps described and here's what I've got:

The question is whether the overall ROI fine for the first try or I've missed something since not a single GEO brought any profit at all. Still thinking of depositing some more funds and either play with this campaign or run another one from Mobipium.
A different question if I may post it here - I've got a complete LP with a ClickBank nutra offer, does it make any sense to promote it with PopAds?
Everything was quite intereting despite zero understanding if I will ever be able to make a living with AM.
Pop campaigns usually don't give profits right off the bat - it DOES happen, but is rare.
Next you can try to set up individual campaigns to target the more promising geos. I would start by setting up 3 campaigns to each target one of these: Colombia, Saudi Arabia, and Germany. UAE looks hopeful as well - too few conversions to be able to tell.
Then, for each campaign, you can analyze site/placement stats to exclude sites that are in loss by 2x payout. E.g. if the payout for the geo is $0.04, then exclude sites that are in loss by $0.08.
To learn optimization, I would strongly recommend to go through the 40-day tutorial in the newbie zone. The $1 guide is only meant to provide a first taste on how to set up a campaign.
As for clickbank: I would suggest not to test those for now. The payouts on those are HUGE compared to most offers we run on pop. The higher the payout is, the more you'll need to spend to collect actionable data. Another reason is that clickbank products don't tend to convert well on pop traffic. Pop traffic is general, broad traffic, meaning it consists of everybody on earth. Most clickbank products are "niche" products that you can only sell to targeted audiences, for example by targeting relevant keywords in google ads.
Hope that helps!
