How are the chargebacks these days?

I was wondering how the chargebacks are these days? I mean regarding cc submit offers etc.

A trusted connection of my is now beta-testing some kind of programatic algo thing, gave him a stunning 50% reduction of chargebacks! The code predicts high potential chargebacks.

He is now looking for 2/3 advertisers (networks?) who need this tool heavily and are willing to test out with them. Ofcourse one test doesnt give you the right to claim 50% reduction, so he needs more data! One thing tho'; he wants only big fish since little data doesn't really help (no offense!).

Let me know, I will filter and discuss with him.

I'm not sure about CC submit offers, but I have a few friends locally, who run ecomm and they report an increased amount of chargebacks or order cancelations due to longer delivery times, the couriers cannot keep up with the increased demand due to the covid regulations and Christmas season.

But that's probably not something an algo could predict.

They use xxx amount of measurement points to predict, I am not sure if demographic factors are included tho'!
