Responsive table in email
Hello,
I am running a stock newsletter.
What's the right way to display a responsive table in an email.
I found this link to be useful: https://www.smashingmagazine.com/201...-patterns-web/
Which one do you prefer? What works best in emails?
Appreciate your reply!

Design your mail for mobile. People aren't likeky to be that bothered to have blank space on the right of an email while on a desktop, as they would be on a website.
In your list, the row to column make more sense to me.

Agree with this, I'd go for mobile first. Personally, I'm also more bothered when an email is poorly formatted for mobile compared to design issues on desktop.
I don't mind to have blank space on the sides of the content, when viewing the email on desktop. After all, the email clients all have some sorts of side menus or columns with other options, so it's not like the email body would be viewed in full screen anyways. And guys with really big screens usually have more than one window open side-by-side.
So I'd go with the "Do Nothing" option from the website you linked.
