Building B2B Lead Gen Project!

Hey guys how is it going? The last couple of months have been busy for me, In this months I along with 3 partners built a new b2b business, I wanted to share a little on how we did it and why we did it.

If any of you know me, I am always trying something new, for example till July/August 2020 I was buying push notification traffic from over 13 networks and afterwards and in October I was busy with something different.

I have a media buying team And because of my curious habit, I always am exploring and testing new things, So when I make one thing work, I use profits in testing the other so not being able to focus on just one thing works in my favour as well as I guess it hurts my revenue too.

I always am looking for long term business opportunities, Yes short term campaigns work and I still run them but I have been trying to move things around for a while now ..

I won't say CPA Offers are bad but from my experience, CPA Offers pay peanuts to affiliates and advertisers and affiliate networks end up pocketing big margins from lazy affiliates traffic who are not interested in improving their business, their niche etc. I always believe if you are an affiliate you can beat any brand/company because their 9/5 employees are no match for the affiliates. For example, if we talk about Insolvency niche, One can easily make on avg 1k/lead whereas advertisers on aff networks buy those leads for 10-20 dollars. With that said I am not trying to dismiss affiliate offers but one can't always live off those commissions as you need to keep on growing.

So I believe with a little effort affiliates can easily land in some great deals for themselves. Anyways back to the topic, one day a good friend invited me over and floating an idea of starting a b2b service with potentials of making 5 figures per customer.

It is a service where we needed 3 important departments:

Marketing: Responsible for getting generating leads and advertising
Sales: A call centre to contact leads and sell them the service
fulfilment: To deliver the end service.

We gathered around 3 companies and decided to start working together.

It is a pretty high ticket niche and at the moment looking at stats I can see the highest payout we got was almost £40k Divided between (50% fulfilment team - 25% Marketing and 25% Sales team ).

I and my business partner ( We are the Marketing Team) both have our teams but we decided to hire a VA pod/ agency to manage everything for us so that our teams can focus on our core projects which are already generating money for us.

With the new agency signed in, we started with scratch, Got GHL CRM for managing leads and another platform for lead delivery. created websites and landing pages and choose 3 traffic sources :

Facebook
Google
Linkedin

So far the most expensive traffic source it turns out is Google with almost £100/ CPL
Facebook generates tons of leads but many leads don't answer or enter wrong info anyway their CPL is almost: £20

Linkedin although we haven't properly tested yet it is almost costing us £90 CPL ...

So far the whole process has been hectic and chaotic we have been working day and night optimizing the system and customer interaction, Working on automations and making the whole process smooth.

Also Considering we only get paid every 3 months so it's been a little tough, But the biggest challenges so far we have seen are related to small mistakes, which we have been trying to correct, Just small things which you may overlook but can go wrong and halt all the operations. Our VA pod is offering Linkedin outreach services too so that is another traffic source for us with free traffic.

So far we have spent 12k+ on Facebook
3k on Google
A couple of hundreds on Linkedin
Taboola $1000 but somehow we only got fake leads from here ...

So this is where I am right now... I will try to keep this thread updated in coming days

B2B can be huge! Really looking forward to this thread and how it unfolds for you guys!

It is a pretty high ticket niche and at the moment looking at stats I can see the highest payout we got was almost £40k Divided between (50% fulfilment team - 25% Marketing and 25% Sales team ).
Especially when you posted this, that's some payout... was that a single lead or a bundle?
