Forex Affiliate Marketing and Facebook Ads - I Need Your Help Please

Hi there,

My name is Chinedu and I'm new to this forum. I won't bore you with my background but lets say I've been interested in Affiliate marketing for quite some time but never took the plunge until recently.

I've decided to go down the Forex niche and be an affiliate for some forex brokers i.e. I drive traffic to their site, customer opens a new account and deposits money (FTD), customer trades a bit and then I get paid a flat commission (CPA). I figured paid advertising will be the fastest route to get traffic.

From what I have been reading and researching is that Facebook have strict policies regarding financial products. I want to use FB advertising but I also don't want to get my account banned / suspended.

Is there anyone here successfully running paid ads via FB (white hat) as an affiliate for forex broker/s? What angle are you using to stay compliant with FB policies?

My plan is to run an ad on FB -> customer goes to my landing page with a Video Sales Letter (VSL) -> end of VSL there's a Call To Action which is to click on link which will take them to Brokers website -> customer opens account and deposits money -> customer starts trading -> I get paid.

I have managed to partner up with a software developer and I'm in a position to offer this trading software for free. Obviously the condition to get this software is to open an account with the broker.

Is my idea flawed, will this method get me banned, is there another angle I can use with FB ads?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance.

I know of a few that successfully used paid fb ads to messenger to promote their Forex MLM back in 2019. Like MLM, Facebook tends not to like Forex offers because they are very biz oppy and the truth behind it is you need alot of capital to make it profitable (more than most of the people they market these programs to). The marketing doesn't tell you this so it tends to attract the MMO types and ends up leaving alot of road kill. If you are very much into this niche and passionate about it, I am sure you could find a unique way to make it work. But you are going to be facing an uphill battle with account bans if you decide to start direct linking Forex ads.

Thank you for your reply. No I don't plan to 'direct link forex ads'. My whole aim is to stay compliant with FB hence why I'm seeking help amongst people in this forum. My Original Post states that I will send them to a Landing Page / Video Sales Letter first. This will act as a bridge between the brokers page and the traffic coming from facebook.

Of course I don't plan on using words in the ad or on my landing page that would easily get me banned such as "make money" or "work from home". Essentially what I'm asking is, as long as I don't use 'Get Rich Quick' terminology, can I safely place ads on facebook offering a free trading software and free education and when they land on my sales page I will explain that they need to sign up with a broker to access the freebies? If not, what is a safe and workable way of getting 'forex leads' from 'paid facebook ads?'

What angle did they use with their paid fb ad to messenger method? I'm willing to explore this approach.

Forex is a sensitive vertical, but it's not banned by default... I'm seeing etoro ads in videos that I watch on FB all the time, for example.

Promoting courses/tutorials/articles would definitely be the safer method, but I'm 100% sure will face random bans anyways. These large brands (etoro) have a big advantage, since they spend millions on the platform and FB reps know what they are about, so possible problems get escalated and resolved quickly.

Here is an example that just popped as sponsored in my FB feed... it's in my local language since they target by GEO, but I'm sure you will understand their setup. Basically, they are sending the clicks to an article about trading signals/indicators, then collecting leads and they also have broker recomendations on the page. Check it out: https://cs.fxtradingrevolution.com/t...qHmQcIJh3NptiY

One more example here:https://sk.xtb.com/tvorba-akcioveho-...4JSENDaQAiemMM

Again, it's a leadgen for a trading course.

So if you want to buy forex ads on FB, I would think about setting up some kind of tutorial and then upsell the broker and/or offer the software you have access to.

Thank you very much for your reply.

This has given me better insight and a potential marketing strategy to work with. Have you promoted forex niches yourself and did you use FB as the ad platform or was it with another ad platform?

If anybody else would like to chime in on this discussion I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey
My name is John, I do have some experience specifically with Forex as I've worked in this field for 5+ years now. Each broker and situation is different - as you mentioned etoro is a huge broker that also works in the US and runs commercials so they do get a bit more of an advantage with advertising

Besides the advertising itself, are you having success finding good offers from reputable brands? Also which geos are you focusing on?

I'm happy to share more knowledge on a private message or if you want to add me on Skype we can talk there as well.
