LP or just a pre-sell ad?

Hey stackers

what do you guys do for mobile traffic? do you just send traffic directly to the offer page with a pre-sell ad? or do you make a pre-sell LP?

I tried going the LP route, and the LP->Offer CTR is around 15% which sucks!

Let me know please.

Thanks

LP might work for some, and crash for others. Have you tested the LP to see about increasing the CTR?

To me using my own LP is just another variable I now have to test and monitor. In addition you start to take on liability if you don't have ownership of images or run uncompliantly.

We DL 90% of the offers we run at MobAff with no issue. Honestly you only need an LP if you're pre selling something, simple ish like ringtones, apps, dating, the offer sells itself.

You gotta test each campaign individually. There is no sweeping rule. I've had profitable campaigns using landers and direct linking.

I tested like 3 LPs with CTRs ranging from 10-20%

Ive had success with mobile LP's vs DL.

Honestly I think LP CTR is a metric thats OVER rated.

Real world example from rebill days. Flogs had a higher CTR than farticles, but the farticle users when they clicked bought at a higher rate yielding more value per visitor in the long run. So even with a 10 to 12% CTR I was converting much higher than when I had a 25% CTR. Concentrate on how many SALES your lander ets not how many people you get to just "check out" the offer.
