Anyone else getting disapproved for cloaking generic dating internationally? I'm targeting females so I'm not even using any risque imagery or anything, and my ad body copy basically says "Want to make friends? Click here to Join one of country's largest social networking sites" and cloaking to that country's most popular social networking site outside of facebook.
I keep getting either that the guidelines for "Dating" ads is not met, when I'm clearly linking to a social networking site that's not for dating. I'm only targeting by gender, age group, and country. No other options. Are reviewers getting smarter than probably no one would broad target to a general social networking site now?
About 36 hours ago, everything I was submitting was getting disapproved. Seems to be normal again now.
It's rediculous...I got 200 dating ads dissapproved in the the last 24 hours...anybody knows what technique/software to use to get the ads past the approval team??
First off, why do you need to cloak? If everything you're running isn't risque, why are you risking your account getting banned?
You didn't mention that you're targeting single users, which is a requirement for dating.
Riley got it right.
You didn't mention that whether you are targeting only singles or all in the relationship targeting.
Let me tell you what, the reviewers, in general, do not give a f on whether your destination is dating site or not, instead they judge the ads base on their "first impression", and if it looks like a dating ads and the requirement doesn't met, they'll disapprove it.
Some people could get through this too and this is solely depending on your ad copy and the "angle" you cloak to.
If those comments were going at me, then YES all my ads were targeted towards the single demos. This has nothing to do with targeting the non singles but more so to do with the bloody third party website such as mywot.com that has rated most dating ads as harmful. which leads to ad disapproval automatically when it identifies the destination url. You try getting approved for any dating offers on any network beside zoosk and some be2 offers without cloaking and then you will see.
Yes I can't say I don't agree with you on that one. However Furthermore cloaking intelligently is a skill to be mastered rather than it being a natural virtue lol. You get what I am saying :-)
contact polarbacon has the best cloaker hands down...
There's 2 dating offers that bring in the biggest money on FB, and neither have to be cloaked...
cupid and which other one?
*hint hint*
thanks kokofai, will be getting more insights from polarbacon later today too
