Do people really sell Facebook pixels?!
I suddenly see a bunch of people selling Facebook pixels. Does that really happen and the purchase helps marketers?! Logically it can help to target a good audience in the same niche. But won't that lead to bans or other complications?
On a personal levels I am trying to master facebook bans and find solutions, maybe share here when I can.
But reselling of pixels.. I'm finding it a bit weird. Any who knows better please share! Thanks in advance!!

I have seen monthly rent of FB pixels, or more exactly people contacting blog owners to ask for the right to put a FB pixel on their website. So I guess buy/sell should exist.
If the website where the FB is located has a good targeted audience, it can allow to quickly create LAL audiences, so why not.
I would personally go with a monthly rent rather than a purchase. Or, a RevShare with the website owner where he/she gets a % of the revenue generated.

like putting your lander full of pixels and ask money for it? you create a co-reg path/sponsoring then and create an underground "sweepstake". not sure how FB will react on that.

This does happen yes, I know that for sure. People are also "bartering" this, so one side places the pixel of the other on their sites/landers and vice versa. It makes sense to do this in case of similar verticals and have a bigger audience for retargeting. But I'd be cautious who to make such a deal with.

Its' pretty straightforward actually... you need to find someone who targets the same audience (or similar) to yours and have them place your FB pixel on their website or LP or whatever... this way, you will grow your audience that you can target later on with FB ads. You can offer a payment or a barter as compensation.
You will face a few problems here... since you are technically looking for competitors to share their audience with, it's not easy to find some who will agree to do this. You need to find reliable partners to make sure they actually honor their part of the deal. It can also be a bit complicated to set the right price for this.
