I currently have a side gig thats doing about $8k revenue a month on FB Marketplace. Its a physical product that my wife produces.
Most the sales are through organic Marketplace listings, with some boosted posts. Around $500 a month spent on boosted posts.
Is there any guides or information available regarding marketplace? We have been doing this for months and I still cant say I have a great grasp of marketplace.
Ultimately with a boosted marketplace post you are paying for messenger contact. It would be great if you could somehow upload sales and let the algorithm do its thing.
Is that possible?
We would really like to scale this project up for 2021!
Interesting! I don't have experience promoting products on FB Marketplace. But have some food for thought for you nonetheless.
I'm really glad boosting posts is working out for you - usually post-boosts for posts on FB pages don't work well at all.
So usually people get WAY better results by setting up ads in the ads manager - makes me wonder whether that's true for the marketplace as well.

As for uploading sales - you're referring to using an existing "seed" audience to generate look-alikes, right? If so, there IS a way, but you'd need to have a list of actual customer details such as emails and phone numbers. https://www.facebook.com/business/he...69097953376494
