Anyone using Chatbot + Messenger Ads ?
Has anyone here tried FB Chatbots and Messenger ads ? I am running lead gen campaigns on FB, using chatbot to qualify leads and I must say conversion rate (Currently 10%) is way better as compared to webpage submit but I see many people decide not to continue, I have noticed there are 2 choke points
1 . When at start your bot starts a conversation --- > https://ibb.co/ZVYqLwp
2 . When you ask them for contact information ---- > https://ibb.co/ZLDXDwh
Has any one experience with chatbots ? I would love to discuss how we can Improve the process or discuss how we can improvise our bot process …

Hey KJ how are you these days?
I've started experimenting with this as well. 2 suggestions:
1)When starting a conversation: Try not to make it obvious that it's a bot. Give it a name and personality - we can remain professional and sound fun / like a real human being at the same time!
2)When asking for contact information: Again, try to sound like a real person. Try putting pause after "You're eligible for a FREE consultation!" Then start again with "Hi! This is [human name], in order to give you the best advice possible I would need to ask you 5 quick questions. Would you be down for that?" And if they say yes then launch the questions.

Found a good example of a chatbot that sounds like a real person:

Hey Amy, Coping up with lockdowns ha ha , Hope you are safe
Wow, I will 100% test this out and see how this makes any difference... Bots are a game changer in Lead gen I must say , on web bots we are getting CRs which we could hardly have imagined before but on FB I am struggling a bit, Maybe another reason could be because on fb they are a little limited and can't do things they can on web platforms ...

I am doing awesome thanks! Glad to hear you're coping - hope the pandemic will be over soon!
Agree with you - chatbots are a game changer for sure! I'm starting to experiment with using manychat to create quizzes - e.g. find out if you have this condition by answering 10 quick questions! Then launch the questions - "do you have this symptom? That symptom?" And then finally "You have a xx% likelihood of having this condition - see how we can help by clicking here" and then onto a VSL / text salesletter. Of course this is an example because we can't diagnose health or mental conditions legally - it's just an example for illustration purposes.
Will let you know my results!
I feel that the main point of chatbots is to "replace" a human being, but preferably still introduce the human interaction element. The link to the curable app above - I actually bought it just to see how it works. It's very impressive - I KNOW I'm interacting with a bot but I still feel warm and fuzzy inside because it sounds so much like a human being! Reminds me of how when I got my first smartphone years ago, I had fun "chatting with" Siri. So in my opinion, we should try to mimic that real human personal interaction as much as possible.
And if we can make the process fun AND informative at the same time, that can only help conversions!
Great chat bro!

I will check this app in detail and see how it is setup, I found manychat a little complex but I am comfortable with the landbot.io. After your feedback I actually check comments on our ads and noticed many people didn't like the fact that we straight away mentioned that this chat is being operated by a bot ( A few people went on to write that in comments ), I am still perfecting my systems and working on making them better but still its converting way better and at the end of the funnel, The leads we get are 100% Qualified and conversion rates as compared to the other ways are much better. The only other thing getting us better results than this is FB Lead forms. On Adwords btw CR is even higher ...

We are doing a lot with messenger chatbot. Manychat will give you problems (with FB API) when you are doing big volume. I really like: http://silferbots.io/.

Ah, silferbots were offering a one year free trial for their paid plan on appsumo. I availed it but never tried. Looks like they are worth a shot.

Thanks @escobar and @wisdompower! Will check out silferbots.io.
@escobar would you mind going into more detail on how "manychat will give you problems (with FB API)"? What kinds of problems and what kinds of volume are we talking about? Just want to plan ahead - thanks!
