For those mailers out there who have a dev / team to handle your server setups. How do you guys structure it so that they cannot see entirely what you're doing? The list you have, the emails you're sending, what works what doesn't etc. What's stopping your dev from taking your entire list, knowing your server setups, and templates that's working, and just running it himself, or even just re-selling that list (over and over)?
I think you need to have a NDA contract with the developer to protect your stuff legally.
Also specify the permissions on the server for what the developer has access to it and what not have access to it.
and not only the dev /team only you have to worry about... also blackhat hackers...
if a blackhat hacker is very interested on your website as example, he may could as an example try to find a SQL injection vulnerability and by exaploiting the vulnerabity, he will gather all the Databases informations including usernames, emails...etc
