What does a drop in ceckout conversion rate mean/indicate?

Hi,

I was running 2 offers successfully with good ROI the last months.

Since 1 week it doesn't convert well anymore. The ROI dropped from ca. 130% to 20%.

When I look at my stats then CPM, CTRs, CPCs and cost per order form impression are all good as before but the the CR on the checkout page dropped from 20% to 5%. That's across all FB accounts. I used all the time the same LALs 1-4%.

I find it confusing because people are still going to the payment page (they have to watch 17 minutes vsl before the link appears so there must be still interest) yet don't buy anymore. That doesn't make sense to me.

What would you do in that case?

What I noticed is that when the offer was new you couldn't find anything about it in google. Now there are stolen copies for a fraction of the price. Might be that people with a purchase intent are looking for it on search and then buy somehwere else.
