Newbie Question - Voluum and TheOptimizer (4)

Hi Everyone,

First off, I'm relatively new to the STM forum and wanted to say I think its fantastic. It's been beyond helpful on several topics.

This might be a really dumb question, but hoping someone might be able to help me out

Currently, I use Voluum as my tracker and love all aspects of it. I'm fairly knowledgable on utilizing most features and use their Automizer for a few integrated partners like Propeller, Exoclick, etc.

I was reading along in the "Offshore Native - Follow Along" - and saw that they started to use TheOptimizer as they progressed with their campaigns. I currently have several campaigns and a ton of data in my existing Voluum tracker. I'm trying to figure out if I can use Voluum as my core Tracker, but then use TheOptimizer to help manage rules and optimize several additional campaigns on ad networks I can't apply with the Automizer...

Basically, I'm trying to figure out if I can use Voluum as my core tracker and essentially my main tracking tool, but then use TheOptimizer to manage and apply rules for several additional networks I can't manage in Voluum. Where I get lost a bit, is if I create my campaigns in Voluum - can I then apply those same links and campaigns in TheOptimizer?

Thanks in advance for any insights or advice, hoping I can just get the best solution in place and start using the best tactics to optimize and scale.

I would avoid having rules from both TheOptimizer and Voluum automater on the same campaign, to avoid conflicts.

@caseyknight actually we do suggest most of our users to use a click tracker and Voluum is one of the most suggested trackers from us. Practically you don't need to change a tracker or move loose any of your campaigns data, simply connect it to our platform and continue expanding on new sources you want to run traffic on.
