the days of setting up a generic
So here are my top apps:
Klavio - Hands down that's the best email app you could use, that's what most of the email marketing agencies are using and would recommend, it gives you full control over everything ,has amazing delivery and inbox rates if you know how to manage your lists and integrates with everything you may need – from chatbots to other pop-up and sale banners.
Yotpo/loox/Stamped – these review systems are totally amazing and important to get your conversion rate higher and get the true , authenticated social proof you need. either one you're going to choose should be fine, from the research I've made I understood Yotpo – the company that I'm using for my projects is first of all Israeli based and has a much better customer service, connects in a better way with google services and much more innovative , yes, the price point is much more expensive, but that's a much, loox is more about social proof and would fit a lot of products and stamped is what must people probably use just because of yotpo's high price point
Afterpay – critical for increasing aov and CVR this app would help you setup instalments for people who need them, that helps create larger carts and save a lot of people who just want to pay in instalments, they also have a lot of traffic and they help get you featured inside their site for traffic
Carthook
In general I just really recommend switching to any other third-party checkout app than shopify's , but carthook is really amazing with basically everything, you need to check it out – from upsells , even post-purchase to the whole fully customizable checkout process and flows.
Smsbump – just like klavio – that's hands down the best SMS software out there right now for manually sending out stuff and also of course save carts and help people finish their checkout.
Refferal Candy – helps get more sales by prompting people to sell your stuff for a commission.
Google Shopping – a total must have, this app would help you get all of the conversion stuff into the account, setup and connect Google’s merchant account in and help you with dynamic retargeting later on, a total must , saves time and a lot of trouble, keep in mind that if you're going to install a third party cart or checkout process you'll still need to make some changes to the code for the conversion stuff to work.
Google Customer Survey – prompts the user to fill out a survey after a number of days you set – if you're running on google and have a merchant account you need to make sure you run this, after getting 100 reviews – this would appear in search results automatically and would help with conversion rate and CTR.
ZenDesk – Customer Service – nothing to really talk about here, a customer service app.
Jam Pagers – Flexible page builder – if you're going to start A/B testing and you want to have the option of editing your pages easily – that's what I'm currently using
Google optimizer – a must have currently
Privy – this would help you get, through an engaging pop-up – a lot of user's email so you'll be able to segment them and start sending them content and convert them later by giving them a coupon code etc'
Sales popup – social proof, helps with increasing CVR, people believe it, and why not ? it's actually real and this creates the bandwagon effect, meaning it's the equivalent of seeing a full restaurant, people believe that if other people are buying – than it must be good .
Little Data – if you're using an external checkout- connect analytics , google ads , shopify to analytics – monitor the user’s journey and get the data you might be missing from just adding those third party apps and checkouts
Recharge- a total game changer ! if your product is the kind of product where you could subscribe someone and give them a bigger discount – that's the app to use.
not only that your valuation as a company is bigger by having subscribers, it also helps you get a more stable LTV look and will certainly increase LTV.
