Any wise idea how to make my IG followers turn on notifications for my page?
My IG pages suffer from quite low reach and I'm trying to figure out ways to improve it...I know that if my followers are subscribed to my notifications it will increase my reach big time. Question is how to do it elegantly?
If anyone has any experience with it please do share it with us
Thanks!

Start a competition with some interesting price, make it last several rounds but don't say EXACTLY when the next round is about to take place, say something like next week... emphasize the fact that those who don't want to miss the start need to enable their notifications in order to get notified about the start.
You can also try the "whining" trick used on FB a lot, make a few posts about how IG is not showing your posts to them or that the "algo" is deleting them and how in order to get all the great stuff from you, they need to allow notifications... I'm sure you've seen this already on FB.
Anyone else has some suggestions?

Please can you try to answer these questions for me?
1. How many followers do you have?
2. What's you engagement rate?
3. And how often you do posts?
4. Do you have connections in the same niche who have a huge following and upvote your posts within 24 hours?

Hi bro
1. I have around 10k followers in one of the pages I have
2. By engagement rate if you mean comments and likes it's very low around 1% even less
3. I post around 3 times a day
4. I don't have connections with others since all the other guys who are in the same niche as me are my competitors and they won't agree to help me

The number of followers is not important. Highly targeted and engaged followers are critical to success on Instagram. The only reason one needs to cross the 10,000 followers threshold is it enables the swipe up feature in stories. But again if you don't have sufficient engagement that doesn't help. Posting too often or too less isn't advisable. If you post too often it will upset your followers and they will engage less. And if you post too less it will upset Instagram and you won't get much exposure. In your specific case you are posting too much for your followers base. Posting 3 times a day if fine if you have highly engaged followers running to several hundred thousands or millions. Earlier Instagram used to reward posts with more exposure if it got a lot of likes within the first hour or two. But now that has changed to likes in the same niche within the first 24 hours or so. It's advisable to run contests after you have met a certain threshold of enagagement. But again you should be careful to offer prizes within the same niche or connected to the niche. Say for instance, offering cash prizes is not advisable (unless you are a rockstar!). You will attract a large number of followers but they will leave you after you award the prize. That's not all - the worst part is that you will attract a lot of crappy followers and random engagement that will confuse the algorithm and your posts will show less.
Your focus now should be to outreach using DM or any other method to find pages and reach out to pages that have high engagement within your niche. Say 2000 to 20,000 followers with 1 to 15 per cent engagement. Connect with people and help each other (within the first 24 hours!). There are other ways. I am suggesting just one...
Please feel free to ask any further questions you may have. Good luck!
