Hi,
Will running ads from about 2+ accounts to promote the same product on the same website have any negative impact such as bidding against myself hence raising ad cost?
I saw someone recommended this because he said campaigns can have different results on different accounts and because accounts can be disabled anytime.
If anyone has done this, any insights, advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks!
Since we are talking about Facebook with their MEGA scale, I doubt this could have such an effect on your campaigns... I mean, raising the costs due to bidding against yourself. 100s if not 1000s of other advertisers are showing their ads to the same audience (at least partially) so one more campaign certainly won't make any difference. Maybe with ultra narrow targeting, such as retargeting a small audience over and over, that could happen... anyways, I'm not a FB pro, so let's wait for someone with more FB experience to confirm what I said or revert it
Agree with @matuloo regarding competition. I wouldn't worry about that at all.
What I WOULD be concerned about, is the big footprint that's linking the different ad accounts together. I hope you're at least using different lander domains for each account. Otherwise, it would take all of one second for the FB algo to link those accounts.

One word: Circumvention
Hey Amy,
Just to double check, it's against the FB policy to run campaigns for the same product, lander from different ad accounts or BM?
If so, does the content ID also need to be different?
Many Thanks!
