Google analytics tracking VS Ads tracking (5)

Google analytics tracking VS Ads tracking

Hi,
I seems either Google analytics tracking or Ads tracking is used to track data for Google Ads, and different gurus on YT say different things about which one to use.
Can a Google ad expert here clarify which one is recommended or if using both would be a good idea?

Thanks

you mean Google Analytics vs Google Adword tracking?

If I get it right: answer is below:

You can use both at same time and also can link Google ads with G.Analytic property.

It all depend on your product/service that you are promoting, which tracking to rely on.

example: if you are in direct response industry (lead gen) where last click matters, you can go with Google Analytics alone, but if customer journey is long enough and transaction doesn't happens on one click then you need Adword pixel (which can record a purchase until 28 days after click on ad). You can change this attribution though.

other than tracking, always have GA code on your site, can take many other metrics other than only sales/conversions.

In short, keep both tracking actives, but rely which matters you the most.

Google Ads expert here. Forget GA tracking (This is a tip I got directly from Google acc managers). Stick with AdWord tracking.

If your spending upwards of $20K+ hit me up I can hook you up with the team that can optimise & grow your ads for you (PM)

Can you elaborate a bit on the reasons why?
I guess this is applicable only on websites that generate 100% of their traffic from ads, but what about websites with organic traffic?

Yes you're right I'm talking about Google Ads here.... (Not organic traffic).

Let me be blunt, nobody becomes rich from organic traffic. If you're not investing in Google Ads, you're choosing to play slow.

If you're asking about reason why GA tracking is worse than AdWords tracking, it comes down to how the trackers measure 'last click;.....

If you relied on GA to track your paid ads then you will notice SIGNIFICANTLY lower conversions. Whereas Google Ads tracking is more accurate in general.

Again, focus on PAID ADS.
