Where to find women traffic for dating sites?

Besides Facebook of course

What's the cheapest and easiest way to reach women audience in general and more specific for dating sites?

This is a hard one, not many traffic sources offer this level of targeting.

Basically, the only way to go around this is to advertise on web sites or apps that cater to the female audience. So forums or communities for mothers, recipe/cooking, fashion etc...

What type of dating are you interested in, adult or mainstream?

"not many traffic sources offer this level of targeting" haha this is true but kinda ironic since being able to target to either a female or a male should be pretty basic stuff...
Actually both adult and mainstream traffic is needed .. If you have any ideas ..I know this one is tough no doubt

So for adult :

1. General traffic networks sell ads on mostly adult tube sites, where the audience is predominantly male, the only way to try here is to use ADs that are targeted at females so you would use images of males and also word the copy in a way that would target women. I don't think this stands a big chance though, since you still pay for impressions and most of them would be males. Still worth a test, the results should be clear quite early.

2. There are some types of sites that cater more to female audiences, for example strories sites, you can try to buy ads on those.

3. Email traffic and members area traffic: in this case, they should know more about the particular users, so maybe they can taget based on gender. Never tried this myself though, try to talk to Vrume guys.

For mainstream:

1. Same AD strategy, use the imagery and copy to pre-filter the traffic in order to get more clicks from females.

2. Selecting the right sites to advertise on is the strongest options, I've seen native ads on several websites that focus on female topics. Look for those. I'm not sure what the current rules of google ads are, when it comes to dating, but this should be a good option as they have their ad widgets on all kinds of websites.

Yes, it would be great to have this sort of targeting available, but in reality it's not that easy to get this info with high accuracy. With FB it's easy, they know everything about their users, so does Google as they follow the users and can find this out too... but the smaller ad networks don't have access to such detailed private info.

On which ad networks it's actually possible to target specifically by website's url if I want to reach those fashion/make up websites for women? because as far as I know most networks hide the actual url and instead they show only some random side ID

You can run a campaign on a network and put a Google / Facebook pixel on the landing page to get an idea of the audience demographics. Not very precise, but it will give you an idea.

On adult networks it's possible. On native networks there is some categorization that you can go by and focus on the widgets that will work fine for you. It's also possible to reverse engineer this to some point, each of the widgetsplacements/zones has some ID, that you can find in the source code of the site, and sometimes these can be used for targeting inside of the networks. Sometimes the affiliate managers at the networks can help... you gotta be creative
