Hi, Google ads support says Google ads optimize based only on the traffic from Google ads itself, is this true?
To clarify, traffic from FB ads won't have any impact on Google ads, but any traffic sources can have an impact on FB ads optimization, correct?
Sometimes their support give wrong info so I wanted to double check...
Many thanks!
Google optimizes based on the pixel you set on the website, to track page views, conversions, and various other types of events you can define.
It won't necessarily make a difference between FB traffic and other types of traffic, unless you specifically ask it to do so.
So you mean Google optimizes based only on the goolgle tracking? if possible, how can I have Google ads also use traffic from FB or any other traffic sources for Google ads optimization?
thanks
You can install a Google pixel on your landing page. When you send traffic from Facebook to your page, it will trigger that pixel. You can retarget the visitors from Facebook using Google Ads. For example, the one that did not convert. That's is one way. There are other options based on your setup.
