Anyone have a contact at Taboola?
I am extremely determined to get back on to Taboola. My account was banned. I only run white hat 100% compliant content. Tried to create another account, banned too now.
A few questions:
Anyone have a contact at Taboola they’d be willing to share with me?
Anyone rotating their landers on the same URL with Taboola?
Any advice on getting back on Taboola?

I guess, you have to figure our the reason of ban firstly, if you don`t understand it yet

They said it’s because of redirecting to unapproved landers. I was rotating landers, but always made sure they were approved first by creating separate camps just to check approval. Guess it wasn’t enough.

I am always scared to change landing page elements even after approval on traffic sources for this exact reason. It's too bad they did not reach out and give a warning for this happening the first time especially if what your running is white hat and nothing on the LPs even violated ToS.
This isnt a proper way of getting back on but I'd imagine a you could setup an LLC with a nominee director for a few hundred bucks get a debit/credit card for it and they would have a hard time linking it back to you. Get a VPN and for a few extra dollars buy a dedicated IP in case their tracking IPs with bans etc.

Did you try to contact support, explain it, and ask politely to unblock your account and that this will not happen again?

Yeah i tried this, minus the LLC part. I think any credit card under my name just gets me instabanned.

Yes, I did this. They wouldn't unblock it unfortunately. It sucks that this type of issue kind of gets a blind eye around the AM community. Tons of support here for follow along and such but my biggest issue has just been getting access to the actual traffic source of my choosing. Been asking around tons of people on skype, forums, haven't got any useful advice. I guess for most people with their aged Taboola accounts they probably don't realize how easy it is to get banned on Taboola and just assume people like us are doing shady things to get banned like this. Anyways at this point looks like my best bet is to fly down to the NY taboola office and confront them in person.

If you could get a debit/credit card issued under the LLC name perhaps this would work and just leave your name off the billing entirely if it is because of any credit card under your name causing this then I'd imagine that would be a solution. Not the ideal way to get back on since your having to circumvent the ban but at the end the day if it gets it done it gets its done.

Hey man - I feel for ya - that would be an awful situation...
I have a really good relationship with our rep and I am glad to ask her about it... I'm not sure if it will help though...
Just out of curiosity...
The account you were banned under - was it under your business's name or your personal name?
Were you doing wire transfers or cc billing?
Do you currently run a decent amount of volume with Outbrain or Dianomi or Gemini?
Do you work with either Maximus or TheOptimizer?
If you were signed up under your personal name I would just go start an LLC, get a business debt card for the LLC, and then try again.
If it already was under your business name that you got banned, then it would seem that the best course would be to find someone with a deep relationship with Taboola (I would imagine either Maximus or TheOptimizer might be candidates, or obviously someone like James Van Elswyck, or maybe the folks at GiddyUp if you work with them) and ask them to help connect you with someone who can help at Taboola.
If you are already running on Outbrain/Dianomi/Gemini, since they are more respected 'whitehat' networks, I would reference that in your correspondance with Taboola and maybe even include screenshots, as social proof that you are a legit business and not some random dude trying to do cloaking, and also to show them that they are losing out on money by not letting you run on the network.
Finally, I would imagine the country you're in will impact it too. If you're in the US it will likely be much easier, or if you're in Israel (since they are an Israeli company) the same thing. Whereas if you're in Mexico or Belarus or something that might work against you (not that that's fair, but it is what it is).
Also if you have some fancy LinkedIn account I'm sure reaching out to Taboola employees on there would be good too (I heartily dislike LinkedIn and don't have a profile myself, but just throwing that out there).
Also, obviously if you are emailing from a personal email that will be a huge negative, although I doubt that's the case, but in the 1% chance it is I would switch it to a branded email for your business, and then also, if you mention that you are happy to fund the account via Wire Transfer I imagine that will help a lot too, as that seems to demonstrate to these traffic networks that you're legit/committed/whitehat to some extent.

Try to think as Taboola. How can they monitor all landers properly to see if they are compliant, if they would approve rotating landers as you wish. Although you run legit stuff.

Hey man, thanks for the insight, it's very helpful. Hadn't thought about LinkedIn. My account was under my personal name with cc billing, running fairly low volume on outbrain, i use theoptimizer. I also work with Giddyup, didn't know they had connects at Taboola, thats good to know ill reach out to them. And yeah I live in Canada so I'm not sure how they treat Canadians, might be working against me. I'll be honest my account was made with a personal email, I didn't realize at the time that it was a negative thing. After it got banned I did try to make a new account under a branded email however. Anyways if i get the personal email account back i will definitely switch it to a branded email. Thanks again for the advice man I really appreciate it.

I think they should add a feature to submit all landers you plan on testing as part of the campaign submission. As platinum pointed out in an earlier post, creating new creatives with separate landers is not split testing, so currently there is no compliant way of actually split testing landers. I do try to sympathize for them man but in this case they banned my account that had no non-compliant landers. On top of this I know that tons of people are rotating landers on Taboola with no issues at all.
