Giddy Up + FB Success? (7)

Hey guys, anyone ever had any success with GU and FB traffic? I've tried several offers, running to their advertorials and mine as well and I would get a sale here and there but nothing note worthy.

Tested optimizing both for ATCs and Purchases. The first one usually got me a lot of cheap ATCs but 0 Purchases.

Would love to hear some success stories!

We don't run Facebook, but we've done well with their stuff on Natives, both on senior listicles as well as standalones.

Just like with any ecom stuff though, in my experience only a small % of the offers will work with direct traffic at any given time.

We never got FIXD to work, even on listicles, but we did well with PhotoStick and Xtra-PC and Peeps, especially on listicles.

One other thing- if you watch their videos on the demographics of each offer's buyers, you'll see that with most of them it is almost entirely older folks. If I was going to run most of their stuff on Facebook I'd target that 50-70 age range, maybe using Conservative News or something similar as an interest group if it's the US, or just 'Politics' or 'News' in general if overseas.

Also, we've had most of our success running their offers in non-US geo's, for what it's worth, also often with translated advertorials (even just using Google Translate is often fine in my experience, as long as you double-check it all to make sure there are no metaphors that get lost in translation).

Also, is Facebook as tough on this as most AM offers like Nutra, Diet, etc.?
