need advice on What i should do SMTP or AUTO responder

Guys i am building an email list via paid ads from FB running niche giveaways so i do expect quality of open rates to be poor.

We have a good plan hopefully we can get alot of leads in our space for our newsletter.

Problem is we are just starting out - brand new website domain.

i am really confused which ESP service should i go for. i do not want to pay alot at a list size of 500,000 lets say it will keill me with the costs.

and i dont want my deliver-ability to be poor as active campeign hit 76% deliverabilit and 4 month back constent contact went to 60% not its back up to 94%

please advice me since i am starting out and will be pumping in leads alot via ads at rapid scale... and domain is new ...is smtp route better.

is amazon aws better or should i stick to the ESP like Sendlane etcbut many costs alot.

@alizaheer, tell us how many emails you send a month aprox, that would help. The size of the list is one thing, but the frequency of contact is also important to determine a solution.

Amazon SES cost $100 per million mails + the data (+ $1250 for their delivery reputation panel). That could be an option to scale.
https://aws.amazon.com/ses/pricing/

Or these guys have managed SMTP with rotating IP.
