Good verticals to run on Taboola/Outbrain at the moment

Hey guys!

I've been running my own pretty successful ecom offer on native for a few months now, but I was looking to diversify my income a bit lately and tried testing some affiliate ecom offers - and was surprised that the performance was terrible compared to earlier this year. I've also heard from lots of fellow high-level marketers that ecom on native is not good at the moment too.

I want to launch some new affiliate campaigns to diversify my active income (hate relying on one offer only), so figured I would start a thread here so we can all share worthwhile verticals to test on native at the moment.

Things I'm considering testing:
- Lead gen (solar, etc.)
- App installs
- Mainstream dating ("meet your soulmate" type of stuff)

I'll report my results testing these verticals here. Would love any other suggestions, I'm sure this can be valuable to all the native marketers here.

I don't run native myself right now, so can't provide any direct experience suggestions.

BUT, do you happen to have access to some native spytool? Adplecity native, for example: https://native.adplexity.com/buy

That could help you get an idea about what is running on the major networks quickly.

Anyways, bumping this thread to get more eyeballs to it and get you some more answers.

Leadgen might probably be the best less challenging option to start with when considering 3rd party offers.

The thing with affiliate eCom offers is that you won't have much room to do a proper re-targeting, not allowed do run brand bidding campaigns etc... So by the end of the day, you're sending a warm audience to the offer owner, which is actively re-targeting this audience and maximizing conversions for themselves. Although you might get paid the full price of the product value per conversion/sale it will still be hard to backup the spend and the actual cpa.

If you have your own ecom offer, I'd encourage to push it harder as you'll definitely gain more revenue and profits compared to an aff offer. Many affiliates are already doing such thing and quite satisfied with their results.
