Instagram Marketing Advice
Hey guys!
Any one of ya'll have experience pushing products throw Instagram?
I'm thinking of slowly growing a niche Instagram page and push niche related products throw it.
Does anyone have experience with this? Does it even convert?
Thanks a lot!

There are people here on the forum who buy ads on Instagram, @wakeboarder for example.
Growing a niche page is different though, that's gonna take time and lot's of effort... I tried it a couple times, but since I was looking for shortcuts by using various tools to automate it, I always got banned after a while
I didn't even get to the monetization phase with any of the accounts.
But there is money to be made on IG for sure, that's what all the "influencers" are doing.

Yeah, it's hard to grow a niche page rn. The algorithm has changed. Instagram wants you to invest in paid ads so organic growth plummeted. You also get the occasional shadowban (i went from good engagement to 10 days of 0 engagement to a boom in engagement, again!)
Do you think it's worth to promote your IG with FB ads?

Growing a page needs unique and quality content. Otherwise you don't stand a change (anymore). Even with ads your eventual IG page has to be good and attract people to follow.
So keep the niche you have in mind close to your own hobbies for example. Like wakeboarder' dad is a hunter, so pushing his product with unique content is simple. If you are not a hunter or not even close to the game, it's very hard to get good content and adjust content the right way for the relevant audiences.
My point, make sure you have the things around you to make that IG page awesome!

I see your point. I'm a noob, so quote me if i'm wrong. But, from what i've seen, re-purposing content is the way to go. I've seen pages in the business niche - and other niches - that have the same content just slightly different. If you have unique content, imo, it will get drowned by the content farm out there.
If you search for any business page on IG, you will find that from 20 pages, maybe 2 of them have unique content. The other pages will just steal the content, change the font and maybe add some slight unique nuances, and then repost it as own.
Even if you're in the hunting niche, you will have 100 IG pages who post hunting images with quotes on top and they will outperform someone with unique hunting content.
That's why i'm wondering if it's even worth it. I want to grow pages with the sole purpose of pushing products.

Then I would suggest mediabuy. It's the fastest way to push products, without having to really care for the content (ofcourse you have to care, but little less).
We run our FB ads also on Instagram, without actually creating a seperate IG page (it's just using the FB page name we use for FB ads, in the insta ad). Ofcourse pushing ads via a quality FB/insta page will give you advantages (lower cost, better placements etc).

I help with Instagram. And yes, it's the BEST social media channel from my experience. But here's a few things you need to keep in mind -
1. Instagram does not like affiliate links, so NEVER add one even if it sometimes allows, say for instance in the bio.
2. Marketing on Instagram goes to the next level after you get to 10,000 followers when visitors are allowed to swipe up and visit your link from your story posts.
3. Random posts never help! Always have your "buyer persona" in your mind while doing the posts from day 1
4. Before you get to 10,000 you can still "do well" with you link in bio. But again, how well you do depends on your landing page, your quality of visitors/engagement.
5. You can make more money with your followers in a specific niche and specific geography than scattered all over. Say for instance, it's WAY better to have 1000 highly engaged followers from your city who are interested in fishing than have 200,000 random followers all over the world and who hardly engage(I'm serious about the stats!). Avoid linktree and similar programs that allow you to send traffic to different channels. You will do better with a laser targeted page. There are other methods once you have a link on bio, which may need a whole tutorial.
6. Focus on the posts that are doing well and try to produce similar contents. Your account will grow quicker.
I am happy to answer any further and specific questions you have.

Can you please expand on this, cause i've seen tons of pages promoting their own products, newsletters, blogs, etc. What do you mean by Affiliate link in this context?
Also, how can one get to 10.000 follower other than organic growth (which takes decades and tons of work, and subsequently makes it not worth the hassle)?
Thanks!

Of course, you can promote your own product! In this context, I meant say you saw a high performing CPA offer, and think that may be you can make a few dollars getting leads for someone... Sometimes Instagram will allow, sometimes it doesn't. But the trust factor of your account goes down. Automation still works, but needs to be carefully used. At some stage you need to give up automation anyways because you can grow your account quickly in other ways once it has a few thousand followers. The other ways can be paid shoutouts (but again you can lose money if you don't choose the right influencer) and collaboration - to name a couple. Contests are good too, but again you need a few thousand followers AT LEAST and good engagement.
Paid ads can help, but again it depends on how well are with it. Like it is a great deal if you get a target USA follower for $0.01 Then there are marketers who would spend $0.5 to $1 for a follower in that Geo and spread the word that paid ads on Instagram is a waste.
