2020 has been a very successful year for us. We launched over 20 brand new funnels this year. Managed to generate volumes on Facebook, Google Search, and Native Ads. Generating high volumes in the crypto vertical allowed us to become one of the top 5 players in this niche. How this vertical works: (Read it, cause nobody talks about it)
Brokers - call centers, brand owners. Those who are looking for leads. Usually, they pay the highest payouts.
Advertiser/Network - Those who can generate traffic thought publishers or internal media. The main advantage is - you don’t need to run after your payments. You are getting paid no matter what. Basically this is why networks exist in this business.
We improved our custom CRM named Convertick. It’s connected to over 60 brokers. Our machine learning algorithm optimizing lead distribution in real-time. Saying it in easy words. Once a lead comes in, we already know which of our 60 brokers will most likely convert it.
Challenges and Solutions
Like any other vertical, CFD has its underwater stones. As a publisher/media buyer - you are always looking for the best performing offers and good EPC. Bottom line you need to maximize your $$$$$$$. If you are just getting into this vertical here are the challenges you will meet on your path:
1. Some offers pay more, some offers pay less:
No matter what verticals you’ve been running. If you managed to make at least 5 figures in this business you know that advertisers who can’t reach good EPC and take high volumes ALWAYS set a higher payout to attract more affiliates. In short - when everything is perfect - ask what\s wrong.
2. Working directly with brokers
Of course, you will get a higher payout. The question is - what will you do if you are not getting paid. I’m not saying they won’t want to pay, but brokers run a very risky business. If their funds get stuck in a bank, they just won’t be able to pay you. Brokers are not networks. Weekly payments, payments on demand - it’s sort of a culture that came form networks. Good networks know how to treat publishers and nobody will do it better.

3. CR is not constant
Any experienced publisher will tell you, always diversify your offer portfolio. Working with 1-5 brokers won’t get you green campaigns. That’s why we have over 60 brokers connected to our CRM and we distribute leads based on their previous and current performance. One broker who converts on 22% in the UK, most likely will be on 12% after 2 days. It’s important to know who can convert your traffic.
4. Operating hours
We are all online marketers, however, we need to take into consideration the fact that this vertical depends a lot on call centers. So, it’s important to know when to send/pause your traffic.
