I was curious to hear your experiences with the various OB bid strategies (Semi-automatic, Fully-automatic, and TargetCPA) as well as with their High-impact Placements (if they're worth it or not in your experience).

Hey, it's not if they're worth it or not, every bidding strategies serves different purposes. If you're just starting out, use semi-automatic conversion bidding strategy, so that the algo will push to find you best websites, but manually adjust your cpc, whereas fully automatic for example you're trusting the algo to adjust bids for you regardless of time of the day to find you as many sales as possible. Same applies for target cpa -self explained, something to use after you have some data so that it can optimize for you based on a cpa goal.
@vee882 We use all Semi-Automatic or Fully-Automatic now. I'm not sure about High-Impact placements... if I remember right both that and Carousel format require a minimum bid that's pretty high so I think the only time we'd try that would be running in US, which we never really do.
