FunnelFlux Pro: Now Available (50% off for 6 months)

FunnelFlux Pro is the first (and only) SaaS tracking platform (i.e. cloud-based tracker) that lets you visually draw how you want your tracking to work, then make that reality.

If you can draw your funnel on a whiteboard, and drag and drop lines between shapes, you can build a flow as simple or as complex as you can dream of.

Draw it, like below, then let our system do all the heavy lifting with making the tracking work and the reporting clear.

I won't bore you with all the minor details about platform features, the reality is we're quite unique in our approach and newly released, so our feature set will iterate too fast for me to keep this thread up to date.

Here's what you need to know:

-- As an STM member
, you get access to an exclusive discount -- your first 6 months at 50% off. This deal is especially targeted at newbies trying to break into the industry, where we know that 6 months gives you a lot of time to learn and get things right.

-- As an STM member, you'll get access to 1-on-1 onboarding with me, Zeno. As you can probably see, I have been on STM for a long time and have a lot of posts here. Most people will either know me from my newbie-focused posts or my more technical discussions around tracking/analytics. For a limited time I will be available for 1-on-1 calls to help you with any questions and ensuring your tracking is set up properly.

-- As a tracker, we do things a bit differently to most tracking platforms. So if you are joining us from another tracker, try to keep an open mind as some of our approaches can disrupt your muscle-memory, but ultimately are there to save you time and do things in a better way. Think of it like moving from Skype to Slack, or Taxis to Uber :-)

-- FunnelFlux Pro will allow you to track virtually any situation, going beyond the limitations of most trackers that give you linear lander > offer; or (shock!) pre-lander > lander > offer sequences. Because of this, we're naturally the best choice for things like Clickbank flows, Clickfunnels, SamCart, ThriveCart, Ecommerce, and more sophisticated leadgen. We're also adding features to connect more readily to CRMs, email systems and so on.

-- Our reporting lets you drill down by virtually unlimited levels

-- We have no limits on custom domains added as long as you use Cloudflare. Higher performance domains will be available soon for $5/mo each, which point directly to our infrastructure (no Cloudflare > faster performance)

-- Our API is going to be released shortly, as is Optimizer integration

==========================

As for pricing, we also charge per unique visitor -- so you will not be charged based on page views, clicks, conversions, or having complex funnels. We want you to build whatever works for you and not worry about the quota cost coming from it. At scale, our pricing gets a lot cheaper and we're happy to offer custom plans for those doing 30+ M visitors a month (e.g. high volume pops).

We're eager to get you on board -- whether you are a newbie or a verteran. Our roadmap will be released soon so that you can see what we're working on and vote + submit ideas. We move quickly and want to be feedback-driven.

Enough talk, start exploring FunnelFlux Pro now and reach out if you have any questions:

Just a suggestion, if someone can help vortex complete her FunnelFlux version of 40-Day Tutorial it might get easier to choose between Voluum & FunnelFlux (for noobs who have never worked with any tracker).

Those tutorials by Vortex are money and why I am here. Being a noob those tutorials are key to what i choose and why I considered Voluum.

Will pass this over and hope for the best. Updating the whole tutorial to include FF will be quite a task, but I'm pretty sure it can be done

BTW: I played around with FF Pro a bit last week, it definitely feels different from Voluum or the other trackers... but once the things start to come together, it all makes a lot of sense and there are some cool perks that I really liked.

Hi there, just some feedback from a newbie here. I've been trying out FunnelFlux Pro for the last 2 days, and I'm really enjoying it so far. Easy to learn, and easy to build flow charts on the canvas. I can already see how easy it would be to build more complex flows and scale. The UI tours were very helpful, thanks Zeno.

Updating Vortex's 40-day tutorial would be awesome!

You've spoken, and we're listening!

The main reason why I haven't finished the Funnelflux version was because I was too used to working with Voluum so didn't have a chance to familiarize myself with Funnelflux to the point of being able to write the tutorial using it.

This is something I'm trying to change right now - by using it to run campaigns. I've been in close contact with @zeno by making suggestions that will make the tracker even smoother to use.

Funnelflux has such rich features that puts it in a whole league of its own. FF is also cheaper, especially if you start running a lot of traffic, which is easy if you're running pop.

The 40-day tutorial is due for a major upgrade anyway - so I'll be updating the Voluum version as well as finishing the Binom at the same time. Thanks everyone for your utmost patience and support - it's much, much appreciated!

@zeno are the features for self hosted vs saas on paar and will that be the case moving forward?

It depends what features you're considering -- these are two completely different pieces of software, only sharing concepts really. We built FunnelFlux Pro from the ground up, they don't even share overlapping programming languages.

In general, they are similar. However, there are various features in the old software that the SaaS does not have and that we don't plan to reproduce in Pro (e.g. PHP nodes, Fluxify redirect mode, etc.).

On the other hand, the SaaS will be getting more and more features over time so will quickly outshine FunnelFlux in terms of feature set. Being a SaaS, it allows us to do things that weren't possible on the self-hosted and develop faster.

So, you run Facebook eh?

Just wanted to quickly shout out about a few features we just launched.

I just prototyped Facebook S2S API conversion tracking, you can read more here - https://help.funnelflux.pro/en/artic...s-tracking-api

Basically you can just set a relatively basic postback URL instead and I'll handle the rest!

I am working on others, including very accurate Clickfunnels tracking, TikTok etc. Let me know if there are any sources that use API-based tracking that you would like to see available.

We also released a Quickstart wizard, which lets you quickly spin up a lander > offer flow without touching the funnel builder:

I must say, our funnel builder is also looking sexier lately (thanks @shishev)

Quite liking our new raw events view too :-)

I am looking to use funnel flux with Microsoft Ads and affiliate network Max bounty. Does Funnel Flux automatically update Microsoft ad spend on specific keywords and show which keywords are making you sales?

02-27-2022 02:38 PM #12 zeno (Administrator)

Hi,

We don't automatically update ad spend at this stage. We do have plans to build such an integration later -- for now you'll have to do manual cost updates, though these are pretty easy to do on a daily basis.

Note that for CPM-based traffic (i.e. billed per impression), its not mathematically possible to send real-time click costs so you always have to update retrospectively, essentially giving an average cost across some segments (e.g. per ad, or per zone, etc.).

Even if a tracker integrates with e.g. MS, Facebook, etc. it will never integrate with everything so you'll always need to be comfortable doing your own manual cost updates. You can split that cost update data by ad keyword but you have to be a bit careful here, as if you have tonnes of keywords that are spending money but don't actually have any clicks in your data, it would have no visitors in the tracker to apply cost to. So at early stages its better to split by something simple and aggregate like ad ID, and do finer cost updates when you can justify it.

As for the keywords -- yes, if you use our template you'd be automatically passing keyword data in the URLs and would be able to break this down in our reporting quite easily.

Hi Zeno, does increasing the cloudflare plan increase the redirection speed?

06-05-2022 11:09 AM #14 zeno (Administrator)

Nah, I wouldn't bother with this.

Yes on higher Cloudflare plans bandwidth/requests might get prioritised, but I don't think this will have any real-world impact worth paying for -- at least in this situation.

Some overdue updates from FunnelFlux.

You can check our release notes here.

So what's new?

- We released our customer API
- Updated our dashboard to be more convenient
- Released a campaigns analysis page that makes drilling down into typical campaign data faster
- Released our V2 Javascript, which is much easier to use

What's coming soon?

- We are in the middle of releasing our V2 domains, which will use a simpler CNAME approach and will no longer require you to use Cloudflare to manage your DNS. Traffic will technically still proxy through Cloudflare, just you won't have to use them directly
- Doing a bunch of UI cleanup that will be followed by us redoing our onboarding guides and documentation. One of the problems with iterating and improving quickly is... your docs, screenshots and videos get outdated quickly!
- We're moving to a new DB technology shortly that will allow us to more quickly add custom event tracking (which is perhaps our #1 requested feature), custom attributes, speed up reporting in general and bring in simpler new plans/pricing
- We'll likely release visual heatmap reporting this quarter

Happy tracking all!

Our latest update -- we have released simplified journey reports, and are now working on visual heatmapping.

With our previous visitor journey reporting it could be quite hard to analyse data and the tree could be quite large. We have now created multiple journey attributes that let you show the full tree, or simplify down to just pages (or groups + pages).

Take this funnel for example:

Here's the full journey report this creates, which shows all nodes:

A bit intense right?

Here's the new reports we have released. Groups + pages (useful if you also want to see aggregate lander/offer group performance):

And pages only:

Probably a lot more comfortable and familiar!

Now we're moving on to visual heatmapping -- a feature that you'll find key if you're much more visual and have complex funnels. Heck, even with simple funnels it can be nicer than tables.

Here's a quick mockup I made (top secret, for your eyes only):

That's all for now!
