Facebook mega-ban-hammer-deluxe - anyone experienced this?
Hi all you lovely STM:ers.
So not a day goes by in this world without another headache lol....
I was warming up a completely fresh ad account of FB, very slow and steady.
Clean fan page, posting to it daily, running a likes campaign plus boosting new posts every other day. All in all about 500 bucks and a months time on warm up of the account.
The spend limit was at 175 when I decided it's time to launch a conversion campaign.
Hit submit and within seconds the account was banned for Unacceptable business practices. Not only the ad account, but the entire BM with its 4 other accounts (3 of which hadn't seen any spend) were shutdown.
The weirdness continues when after 3 hours I get emails saying my ads are approved and scheduled to run. So I get FB on chat and the rep looks into things, says the ads are fine and she's just gonna take it to the right department and get the account back because something triggered the bot. She explained to me that the ad reviewing bot and the ban-hammer bot are separate.
A day goes by and I get an email back from the support rep that the can't open the account up again.
This is a white hat campaign and the business manager and previous ad account that I ran from is years old and has barely even seen ad disapproval's in the past. '
Despite this FB decides to shut down the entire BM with 5 ad accounts in total. Instead of disapproving the ads, which ironically, they did approve, both the bot and the reviewer.
Anyway, not really sure why I'm writing about it, guess I just need to vent this shit.
If anyone has any similar experience or know why an instant mega-ban like this is triggered in-spite of all of the above, I'm all ears.
Imma go back to be pissed of with FB until tomorrow then figure out how to move forward.

@timpa sorry to hear you're going through this.
You are not alone. EVERYONE is getting flagged these past few weeks, it's been rough!
Was the Facebook personal account verified? Did you verify the BM? These things can help but not always give you full protection.

Also, how WH are you really? I have seen/heard a lot of people saying they run WH and when I check the funnel its full of triggerwords (those shouldnt per se result in a ban), or AM told them the nutra landing page is considered WH lol (if page is heavily raped by others, you face consequences too by submitting it in your accounts).
Not sure how this happened but fun avatar ;-)

Appreciate the tip. Hadn't done any verification but I've had that BM for years now and barely even had a disapproval. So it seems super random. But yea, I'll keep that in mind.
"Good" to hear that this is kinda FB's ways now though and it's just not me.
Found out how to check the reason via API from another post here and it said "AD INTEGRITY POLICY". Got any idea of what that might refer to? Can't find any details.

Yeah seems like you're a fan of the Great Cornholio yourself
And yes, I get what you're saying but took great care to remove anything I could possibly think of that might've triggered something. It's my own LP on my own domain and nothing anyone has used before me.
Either way, still overkill to shut the entire BM down but judging by the responses in this thread so far it seems FB is really trigger happy these days.

Yeah thats quite a hardcore decision, that probably means it's an error at their side
so keep appealing and chatting. Ad integrity probably aims on the "misleading" part of your ads.

@timpa Okay, so "Ad Integrity Policy" refers to your funnel not being congruent. When you look at your Page name, landing page URL and the ad context do they all match up?
Many affiliates make the mistake of not being congruent with their funnel. My Facebook rep has shared with me a Business Integrity Guideline written specifically for affiliate / ecom campaigns.
One of the key things this document mentions is to match the Page name with the landing page name and the overall brand that your ads represent.
For example you're promoting a diet offer and you gave your Page the name "Weight Loss Tips" but your domain says easyweightloss.com - it's clearly a mistake Facebook's algo will easily detect. Instead you should use the same URL weightlosstips.com and also add a logo which says "Weight Loss Tips" all across your funnel (fb page, landing page, offer page).
Also look at the claims you're making in your ad - if you can share a screenshot of the ad - I'm happy to give you a feedback on where you're breaking the policy.

Has it got anything to do with the elections?
