hi,
in various topics i often read that testing offers is the key and that finding the offer is the hardest part. I also read that some of the members test up to 20 or 30 Offers per day. I just created 3 Landing Pages (ripped from Adplexity) and fixed them up and that already took me about 2 hours. What kind of steps do people take in order to test so many offers in one day? If i work for 2 or 3 hours i might be able to get 3 landers ready with 2 or 3 offers.
So how do you guys do it? I also tried to search on the stm forum for some advice on testing offers fast but couldn't find any. Maybe someone could point me to a thread that explains it further?
thank you!
You don't need a new LP for every offer you test, simply stay within the same vertical/niche and split test a bunch of offers using the same LP. That's what I'm doing too, with one proven LP, I can test 5-10 or even more offers in one day in a high traffic spot. And with multiple campaigns and multiple traffic sources, it's no problem to test even more.
So get a bunch of "iphone sweeps" LPs (for example) then find a couple iphone sweeps offers and test them all at once.
Based on my experience, a solid LP can last for quite a while, so you can use it to run multiple offers over a pretty long time span.
I think the key in order to test that many 20 to 30 offers a day is the budget, big affiliates have the budget to test fast. Without a big budget, I think you have to go slow, maybe test 3 to 5 offers a days, otherwise you might not get any significant data if you test that much offer in a single day.
additionally to above, you can work with affiliate programs that give you their own landers combinations, if I'm not mistaken Leadbit or Dr.Cash (nutra) used to have that option and IMonetizeit or CPAMatica (dating)
@matuloo gave some pretty solid tips - that's basically the most sensible way I know.
Here's another way that will enable you to test a shit ton of offers in various geos considerably faster - but only if you're prepared to trade money for time:
-Do lander research using Adplexity to find 1-3 landers (if you have more time than money do 3, if you have more money than time do 1) that are popular consistently across all geos you'll be promoting.
-KEY: Find a way to quickly change the language displayed on each lander. Several options:
1)Find landers that already have this incorporated. There will be a file with all the lander text in different languages. When adding the lander into the tracker, be sure to add a language or country or country code token behind it, e.g. lander.com?lang={country} (in
2)If you have trouble finding a suitable lander with the above incorporated, find a developer to implement this.
3)Use caurmen's method to quickly spit out lander versions in different languages: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...from-templates
-As for the actual translations: Of course you can get them professionally done, but if you want to save time further, just use google translate. But before you do, rewrite all the text into very short phrases/sentences, and don't use figures of speech or slang at all. Google translate is pretty good at translating short, literal text.
-To handle different prizes: Either add the prize name and image as lander variables (the same way the lander text in different languages is implemented), or generate a separate lander for each prize.
Yet another way to save even MORE time but burn more budget in the process: Just use English landers to test all geos where English is even remotely prevalent. Once you determine which offers have promise you can spend time on proper translations.
Hope that helps!
