Hiya.
I just finished running a multi ad platform(FB, IG, Search, display, YT, etc) ad agency where ran ads for business who sold courses, lead gen-email submits and ecom for other businesses. Now it's my turn to reap the rewards. I am pretty new to this AM stuff. No flex here. Just honest, what to learn and help share.
I have lots of ways I think I want to get into the game. I know how and consider myself an expert at paid ads.
Can you help me create a focus path?
Option 1.My buddy runs a financial software company and he wants leads that go to his webinar. I can get a CPL rate or commission. I will have to decide. I'll start with FB and display since I can scale those.
Option 2. Click bank. Running offers there.
Option 3. Running legal lead gen for my buddies company and negotiate some CPL.
Option 4. Need help finding some CPA/ CPL network that I can find a good offer for email submit. you know any?
Option 5. Help me decide!
thanks for reading!
Welcome to STM!
Sounds like you have a great background that will help a lot to succeed in AM.
You seems to have experience in lead gen and contacts already. If you can scale them enough, that could be an interesting way to start as you may negotiate a higher fee than through a network. And then add more related offers to your funnels. So I would say option 1 and 3.
Thanks boss.
I'm with @jeremie 100% - I'd go with options 1 and 3 as well.
FB doesn't seem to like the affiliate marketing business model very much. It has become a cat and mouse game to keep ad accounts alive, even if you strive to run 100% clean by complying with policies.
FB looks way more favorably on business owners and service providers, i.e. your buddies and the companies they own. And if they have websites and FB pages and business managers that are established (i.e. have been around for a while) that you can use to run ads for them, that would be a plus.
I admire your experience with multiple social media platforms! If you wouldn't mind sharing, I'd love to learn more about how you made various platforms work together to maximize effectiveness. This is something I'm exploring myself at the moment, so any tips that you have can shorten my learning curve.
BTW - welcome to STM @tacoguy55!

Thanks for the idea.
I'll need to spend some time writing my post. It's uber important to use all the platforms that make sense to get to the end goal.
