Has someone tried to drive traffic to his site using Google Search Ads, build a Taboola audience and then retarget the hell out of them with Taboola remarketing?
It seems a good idea to me, can someone give me some advice? Should I use smart bid or fix bid?
Yeah you could do that. I haven't done it but I know some folks have success putting Taboola/Outbrain retargting pixels on their facebook landing pages, so I'm sure what you are describing would work too.
Re: SmartBid or Fixed Bid it's hard to say... It might not really make a difference since you're retargeting... I'd say try one of each and keep whichever one does best...
No one has direct experience with Taboola remarketing?
The volume available for re-targeting on native inventory has been quite low in experience. You'll likely get better results and scale re-targeting via Google or Facebook or a re targeting platform like Criteo/Adroll.
