Hi.
I am researching some affiliate products, and I've noticed that they all have default landing pages already hosted.
If the lander is FB compliant, would I be okay to use it according to FB's policies?
If the lander is not compliant, should I just i.e. rip + edit it / rebuild it in a page builder?
Thanks for your help in advance.
If you want to optimize, create look-alike audiences, retarget, you need a way to fire your FB pixel when someone visits the page and/or takes action. This could be a problem if you use landing pages already hosted. Sometime, the offer's owner allows to pass the FB pixel ID as a parameter (and a script in the page fires it) but it is not always possible.
Apart from that, they may decide to take down the page, change it, while you are running a camp...
So, would it generally be acceptable per FB and the offer owner if I just created a look-alike page and tweaked the wording for FB compliance?
@najeethecoptwriter, from FB perspective, it should not be a problem.
You may want to check with the offer owner if he is ok with you duplicating the page. Anyway at some point, a registration and/or a payment shall happen. So how will you process this if you copy the page? That is why most affiliates create pre-landers and then send the potential leads towars the offer page.
Tell us more what setup you have in mind for a detailed answer. Your question is a bit generic, so it is difficult to elaborate more
Hey @jeremie. So I actually learned that my confusion stemmed from a misunderstanding.
The offers' "landing pages" are actually the offer pages, and I just misunderstood.
So I am indeed creating a pre-sale page.
Thanks for offering your help!
