Tracker features - yay or nay?

Howdy all,

We're close to releasing FunnelFlux Pro, our new SaaS. You'll hear more on that soon as we have special plans for STM members, including newbies who are dancing with the AM dragon for the first time.

Before that, I wanted to get your rank of some features we have cooking in the FunnelFlux kitchen. Stuff we're planning for our visual builder and system in general. Your feedback is super helpful and will only take a few minutes to add.

1. Features we're working on

Check out this SURVEY to rank how much you give a damn about some features. Will take you 30 seconds, just click 1-10 for each feature (1 being meh don't care, 10 being holy shit that would be great).

...and yes, we haven't released our API yet, we're just interested in how important API access is for most people.

2. Our Simple Flows builder

So, to give some context, in FunnelFlux you have a visual builder that lets you craft almost anything. Link 13 landers to 24 offers followed by a condition node, 4 upsell pages, a checkout, followed by 3 different thank you pages. You can do whatever, its the most flexible tracker available in this sense and it allows us to integrate with and track complex systems like Facebook > Opt-in page > Email Platform > Sales Page > Ecommerce platform and flow > Thank you page.

However, many people prefer a simple form approach where you select landers then offers and are done, as that is primarily what they use (the usual affiliate campaigns).

So, we have built a new UI for "Simple Flows" which gives you this, but actually creates a real funnel on the backend. Later if you want to do something more advanced you can convert it to a visual funnel and start fiddling. I wanted to get your general opinion on how much you'd like this feature:

You can see a mockup here -- https://prnt.sc/te08qb

So, do you like what you see? Yay or nay -- click HERE to vote. I know most of you are used to this kind of approach, so really I am asking "when you look at this, does it look easy to use?"

One cool thing about this is, because of the funnel structure created, you can use our visitor journey report to see them passing through the condition "gateway", what rule they matched, and what destination flow they hit, so you can have full insight into what is going on and where the profit is.

3. Get some free stuff

Ooh, free stuff!

For a limited time every STM user can sign up for FunnelFlux Pro and use it for free.

Just head over to https://funnelflux.com/pro/stm

We want our development to be highly customer-centric so your feedback from within the app as a customer is extremely valuable. To put it frankly, your feedback and voting in feature surveys WILL determine what we build and in what order. As the saying goes, don't ask, don't get.

Also, I will be doing 1-on-1 calls and onboarding with customers who request it, so if you have some complex scenario and you're wondering if we can help with implementation, the answer is YES. I'm also aware of our feature pipeline so I can give you direct info on what things are around the corner that will make your scenario even easier to deal with.

Cheers!
Zeno

Awesome! I've only used Binom up to this point but FunnelFlux looks super nice. Can't beat a free trial too .

One thing I'd like to say is I think API would be a very important feature. Unless I'm wrong, optimization services like TheOptimizer completely depend on access to a tracker' s API to function. As an affiliate, I think it's hard to be competitive without tools like automation that can help give me that extra boost.

I'll fill out the survey when I get back to a computer .

Some nice features in the survey zeno, just completed it for you

Custom conversions would be a great addition to the new version as well as current one

This would be especially helpful for those who run offers with different reporting statuses as well as search feed arbitrage (delayed revenue reporting)

Heya @bennimen, yep, very aware of the API importance!

Actually, we have already sorted out integration with The Optimizer, its a separate feature for us than the public API. We'll have a private endpoint and API key just for them which will be available before the full public-facing customer API.

We're also aware of the desire for automatic optimisation as part of trackers. Rather than try and reinvent the wheel over many months of development, we're focusing on integration with The Optimizer (as lets face it, they are the industry leader). We have something special brewing in the background here with The Optimizer team but can't reveal details just yet ^_^

We'll then focus our optimisation features on what is unique to FunnelFlux, for example EPV optimisation at any point in your funnel, and effectively, full pathway optimisation.

@platinum We plan to add custom events that can be triggered in various ways, and at the moment we already have some level of support for multiple status postbacks.

For example you can send a conversion with a transaction ID of "lead" and a revenue of 0, followed by a conversion with a transaction ID "sale" and a revenue of 50. If a hold/lead gets rejected, you can send the same lead transaction ID again and a revenue of -1, which will delete the conversion.

Then in reporting you can break down by the transaction ID attribute to group your conversions by status.

Custom events would let you break this out into columns instead but the events themselves wouldn't be conversions carrying revenue, so the above approach makes a bit more sense there.

As for search feed arbitrage, could you give some detail on how that works? Sometimes it only takes a few tweaks to make things like conversions more flexible and adaptible to other situations :-)

I also would love to see auto optimization features but I am completely with Zeno.

For placement optimization there is TheOptimizer already and it´s doing a great job.

What´s missing is automation for tracker internal stuff like landers and offers so I definitely support to focus rather on this than on stuff that already exists on another platform.
