How I made RS 80,000 by investing RS 500
Hello guys,
Hope you all are doing fine!
I did this in the month of January before the lockdown. I had an agreement with a local real estate developer. The agreement was I would provide him with leads and his sales team would do all the follow ups and schedule site visits, and for every lead that converts he would pay me a 2% commission on amount that the developer would receive after paying all the taxes.( If the registration value is RS 45,00,000 than -18% tax which amounts to 8,10,000..so the developer would pay me a 2 % commission on 36,90,000 because this is the amount the developer would receive)
So I ran a single ad campaign on Facebook for 2 days with the budget of rs500. Most of the people when it comes to targeting people for real estate target people with professions like doctors, engineers, etc. This is a mistake according to me as these people may have the money to buy real estate but are they interested in buying right now? So I target demographics like 'housing.com' because the people who are looking for a property right now are using websites like these to search for properties. So audience becomes highly targeted and this is the audience you are looking for. If you target using this method you will get the warmest audience in the area you are targeting!
So I got 21 leads after spending rs 500. 12 people among these were just casual inquiries, 3 didn't respond, 6 came for a site visit and one of them bought the property. The cost of the property was somewhat around Rs 49,00,000. After the token price was paid I had to wait for 15-20 days for the loan to be passed, once the developer received the first installment from the loan, I received my 2% commission. Finally, payday!
(The only problem in this earning method was the long wait of 15-20 days)
I know the conversion ratio is not that good, but considering an investment of rs500 a return of rs 80000 is pretty good!
Thanks for reading!

Is RS = Indian Rupees?

Hey man, first of all - nice to see that Bread Pitt is now in the affiliate marketing business
Your "case study" is quite unique, but thanks for sharing and good luck.
Keep up the good work!

Thats some monster ROI actually!

That's pretty normal with a setup like this, 20 days is actually not that long, considering the client actually had to buy the property.
So now you have like 75 000 RS pure profit, I would personally re-invest part of it into getting new leads for the same client, in case the deal is still active.

Nice case study @bread pitt!
This is a great example of how affiliate marketing can do wonders in the "real world"
As advised from matuloo, keep the ball rolling and reinvest part of the profit to get new leads... it could open up some interesting scenarios.
P.s. You could have a look to other cities as well... since you just have to get leads, you don't have any "geographical constraint".

@bread pitt Thanks so much for this post! I love seeing case studies like these!

A great example on how research into audience targeting can pay off in a big way!
If you don't mind me asking: Were you running the ads from your own ad account or theirs? From their FB page or yours?
Once you have some experience and stats to show, you can seek out real estate agents that only focus on selling higher-end properties - such as mansions or commercial properties - for higher commissions. Of course the audience targeting will be different though.
And when you have more agents you can give these leads to, you'll be able to "split-test" them to see which ones are better at closing deals to make you more money, and give them the majority of your leads.
The beauty of this method is that it can be replicated across countries. The scaling potential is huge.

Even I was thinking about re-investing it but because of the lockdown due to covid-19, I dropped the plan. People are not willing to come for property visits

The developer I was working with didn't have their page, so I created their page and ran the ad on my ad account and thanks for the great advice! Really appreciate it.

I continue to be amazed by the fact that, in this day and age, a LOT of businesses STILL don't have an online presence!
Those that know me personally, know that in addition to being an affiliate, I'm also an energy healer.
Of all the energy healers I know (and I know quite a few!), 90% don't have a website, and of the remaining 10%, 9% has never run ads (the 1% being myself).
A lot of people are saying how ad agencies are saturated - and based on personal experience I know that's not true.
There are currently
over 3000 Google My Business categories, and
195 countries in the world, which yields a whopping total of 585k combinations - and specializing in just ONE of them can result in a full-time income.
Thanks again @
bread pitt for your eye-opening post!
