Hello,
What is your favorite translation service? I'm talking about non machine learning services that use actual people. Recently a few google translate and deepl translations have left native speakers scratching their heads. The do an OK job but I'd like something better.
Thank you in advance.
I've used two approaches... in a GEO thats new to me and I need quick translations for, I go to onehourtranslations. If I have more time, I head to fiverr or upwork and find a few native speakers... it takes a few tries in most cases, but I was always able to find a few reliable guys that I would go to for repeat translations in the future.
I use OneHourTranslations.
Yes, they are more expensive than others but I use them for 12 years or so already so I am just used to it.
I use deepl + neuronto
i used onehourtranslation in the past but quality is not that great anymore.
now i'm using https://gengo.com/ since they are faster and deliver a better quality.
I use Upwork when I want to find 2-3 reliable translators to work long-term with. I hire 8-10 translators with a decent profile to translate a 500-word article. Then I hire an expert to review all translations, and grade them usind a scoring grid (spelling, grammar, use of idioms, easy to read....)
Gengo is great service, I recommend it too.
