Just had all my latest batch of Jumptap Ad Bundles rejected, with the reason:
"landing page must be functional"
Now, I'm using the Neverblue URL in my tracker, which then re-directs to a URL that begins with:
market://details?id=
I'm assuming that the Jumptap reviewers are trying to access this URL in their browsers, which fails. On an Android handset it should re-direct straight to the app in the marketplace.
Surely Jumptap reviewers will be geared up to test this kind of stuff?
Or alternatively, I've screwed up somewhere (yes, it's possible).
How can I test the market:// URL? I've tried the OfferMobi free tools, but doesn't work for me.
I had that same issue w/ an Android marketplace offer.
I just sent the ads to a regular landing page and then switched the link on the backend (I'm using Prosper) once they were approved.
They're using an emulator instead of phones. So if you're going to Android marketplace, you'll run into this issue a bunch.
I wish I still had the emails trying to explain this to my rep, high comedy.
