This is a very shady way of making money with coreg, so run at your own risk. It's completely compliant by GT. PPV networks don't approve of it and I just got banned recently on LI for it. Also it's not a prize angle 
The angle we are pushing here is a software download by saying their version of whatever software is out of date and they need to update it.

at least with this, you can actually supply them with the product at the end of the path at no real cost.
what was the reason LI banning you? i would think its because you're pushing "downloads" which are strictly against their rules, and not necessarily because of the shadiness, but im just speculating. did they give you a reason of why they banned you?
LI doesn't like deceptive stuff like that is the main issue....any thing that mimics the site your popping over they don't care for.....depending on how far you take it....its very bannable...(I've lost a few accounts over it)
Yep polarbacon hit it right on. Deceptive they claimed misleading cause no software download was available. But it was at the end of the path.

They do not approve any download angles / themed lps.
Ran it few months ago, got banned as well.
Awesome example of coreg without using the prize angle! That's the important thing to take away from this
Prize LPs aren't shady if worded properly and backed out into an actual fulfillment partner.

were you cloaking, or just using bait and switch? I've been doing shady stuff on there for awhile and haven't had any issues or been caught with the cloaker I made...
Yes, I would also like to know the same thing. Were you doing cloaking of any kind? Kinda got me scared there.
Haha oh man you could of pushed this idea a lot further. If you went for an official styled design I would expect the ROI to go up by another 50%.

I love the angle, but how would it work? What types of offers would your path have if you were doing the "update your software" angle?
Surely you wouldn't just send them to a path with a bunch of unrelated offers...

You can get a custom path created with SP/GT, but you'd be surprised how well the normal path will convert with unrelated offers to the way your promoting. You can split test a custom path vs normal path and see.

The juicy part, well... there is no juicy part, cos i only put $20 and end up with $8, so something is not working for me.
I add another $100 in LI and will ask my AM @ GT to optimize path, but i think that the path is not the reason for not converting.
what are your targets and LP ctr? on step 1? and then step 2?

Probably we need to pick some other software that better fits LI demo.

Flashplayer showed a little of a promise.
The rest tanked hard. Curious if we tried the same targets.

inbetween 70 cents to 1.20. I wasnt effected much by the VZW drop.
VZW barely effected me.. I noticed actually higher RPUs after the whole VZW crisis. lol
