Using Images Aliexpress

Hey Guys,

I found a product i want to test out dropshipping on Aliexpress. Just cautious on using the images of the product (on the Aliexpress page) and not getting in trouble for copyright infringement or something.

Any recommended ways to check and protect from this?

Cheers.

Have you asked the store that sells the product?

I can do that, but still wouldn't completely trust what they say.

In countries like India and China no one cares about copyright issues. I am from India, so I know. So, you are right on the fact that you cannot rely on seller. But can you check if you can make changes to the photo and get away with it. But you can get a bit of 'expert advice.' Just register for a free plan of getstencil.com or any other photo editing or any company that deals with that area and ask them questions about photo copyrights, etc. They deal with these stuff all the time and wilil be in a better position to advice you.

There is no reason to trust an advertiser less than STM forum members. Especially since we don't know the details. If the advertiser is providing pics with Whoopie Goldberg recommending the product without her knowing, then it's dangerous yes.

If it contains only material advertiser owns, use it!

If you want to be absolutely sure, buy the product and make your own photos. Problem solved.
