It's said that a visitor needs to view a product seven times on an average for a purchase. What's the figure for an opt-in or an email submit?
There is nothing like a "standard views count" ... even this 7 times figure is likely result of someone running some limited test and making some decision of the data collected god knows how.
When I look at this from an affiliate point of view who works with paid traffic... I get the best conversions from surfers who have seen my ad for the first time, that's why tight capping produces the best conversions. It's quite possible that the same user has seen ads of other affiliates before mine on some other site... but frankly, it's impossible to calculate how many and I don't really think I should care about this at all... it's not something I can influence so why worry about it? 
All that helps is learning till we die! On a personal level, hope to start the new year 2021 with a bang and do some great christmas sales before that. Possibly a bit of halloween sales too if that works out.
