How do I create a second Facebook Profile to advertise?
Hey all,
Been advertising on FB for ~6 years, and have spent X,XXX,XXX on the platform. It's been a very significant portion of my income. I've always been white hat and have done my best to comply with Facebook Ad policies.
Unfortunately, on Monday FB restricted my entire account from advertising. I appealed the decision 3 times, and each time my appeal was rejected.
QUESTION: How do I safely create a second Facebook Profile to advertise with?
Do I just new a new computer? Should I change ISPs? How can I pull this off?
I'm not looking to farm a ton of accounts, I just want to create a backup.
Thanks,
Michael

Easiest and cheapest option is to fresh install firefox with container plugin. Then you just create new container for your second FB account and use it only for this. That should work if you do not have more than 3-5 accounts on one machine (and of course not all created at the same time and all must be in different container). Canvas blocker / spoofer might help, too (hides the resolution of your screen which is important fingerprint). --> Free plugin.
When creating the account you need unique images. You may need several pics of the same person in case you are getting asked for verfying your identity. Phone verification is not requiered although FB is hungry for that and often suggests that you give them the number for savety.

Thanks for your response.
Won't my IP still be visible to FB even if I use a container?

use antidetect tool with good mobile proxies. But you should understand why you were restricted in the first place

Yes your IP is visible. But that is not a problem per se. If you restart your router you have a new IP anyway. Also when using your smartphone your IP changes constantly when moving through different 3G cells. Also on family computers it is quite normal that there are several facebook accounts. Up to 5 accounts on one IP and one machine shouldn't be problem (speaking from own experience).
The magic is more in what you do with the accounts. If you have unnatural behavior it is no wonder that the algo blocks you quickly. Just take it slow like your grandfather would do if you introduce him to FB.
You might wanna like to have a look at multilogin. It is expensive but they have quite a reputation for such requirements (fingerprints). Linken Sphere is another option. Not sure how much Russian you need for that

Thanks. Being completely new to this gray hat/black hat stuff I'm a bit lost. I was thinking about just buying a second laptop and using it only for this account... building it up slowly, etc.

Well before you buy a second laptop you can just install a virtual machine. Firefox option with the free container plugin is easier. --> 5minutes.

What does the virtual machine help with?

I have thoroughly audited my 4 business managers and 30+ ad accounts and I can't for the life of me figure out why they restricted my access. There were no obvious violations with the ads they didn't like, it was a completely white hat ecommerce product going to my own brand. It was just really strange.

With a virtual machine you can run two different OS on your PC at the same time. So basically it would be like two different computers (depending on the settings).
In the end is your money. Trying the firefox option wouldn't hurt. And... who knows anyway when your next FB account will be blocked. Seems to happen to people regularly who use FB for advertising. So is probably part of the game.
