would like to add a FB pixel to my ad campaign, currently running an SOI sweepstakes offer on traffic settings.
Created a pixel in the BM and talked to the owner of the offer, who wants me to add &aff_fbp={pixel_id} to the tracking link.
Wanted to ask you about the steps to proceed further. Create a conversion campaign etc.?

The owner of the offer does not want to add your Facebook pixel script, because if he has to do it for every affiliate, the page will trigger pixels for all afilliates at the same time, which I would guess is against FB T&C, and also, all affiliates will benefit from traffic.
What he has done is installing a custom script on his page, which triggers a FB pixel when the "aff_fbp" parameter is sent in the URL. He is asking you to pass your pixel ID string in the URL. With that info, his page will trigger just your Facebook pixel so you can measure conversion and create look a like audiences just for the traffic yous send.
You need to get your Pixel ID from your BM. Use this tutorial:
