A green campaign becoming red campaign only one day? (14)

Do you have that behavior that it works day 1 and then not anymore only with this one campaign?

I check it when I am back on my pc.

Can you please post the images properly in the meantime so that they are inserted correctly?

I have/had this problem sometimes too.

I noticed that when I turn creative off campaign needs some time to "reset" / figure out what is going on. It often means = lower performance in next few hours or so.


Also on first day you usually gets the best possible placements and traffic. When your creative and bid is okey then next day should be okey too. But when your creative & bid combination is weak you gets worse quality traffic.

That's just my theory but yeah, decline from 17 conversions to 0 is bad. I had declines like from 8 to 0 but not from 17 to 0.

Did you also check the placements?

And I guess the bad campaign and the WL campaign are for the same offer.
Did you run both campaigns at the same day?
Did the WL campaign run and converted the same day when the BL campaign tanked?

I have updated my thread.
I have checked the placements. And the converting placements still receive traffic.
Yes,the bad campaign and the WLcampaign are for the same offer and same LP. But the WL campaign only uses the best creatives. Furthermore, I created another BL campaign and just chose the best creatives like the WL campaign.But unfortunately, this campaign is also a red campign.Here is the screenshot for the second BL campaign.

And the WL campaign is working till now.Here is the screenshot for the WL campaign.

Alright, so you ran the same offer on same day where it tanked on BL in a WL capaign and there it worked.

Good, then we can probably say that it´s not the offer.

Did you check placements as well?
I know that question is probably needless but it´s always hard to figure stuff out with only the overall stats.

And when we want to analize it a bit it´s always good to have as many info as possible.

But as we have seen, the offer is working so the reason should be somewhere else.

When you also use the same creatives in the new BL campaigns that are converting in the WL campaign we are more or less left with the placements.

What about landers?
Do you run different landers there or only one?

How is the WL campaign doing yesterday and today?
Still converting?

Do you still run the placements from the WL campaign in the BL campaign as well or did you exclude them there?

Yes, I have checked the WL campaign placements carefully.
Here is the placement screenshot for the best day and the worst day.


The placement 1,2,3 haven't good performance in my another whitelist campaign test. So I paused it. And there is a WL campaign still converting. Here is the screenshot for this WL campaign.

These campaigns have only one lander. So should I restart this BL campaign to collect more data?

Are these screenshots from exactly the same campaign?
Because it seems that you decreased the bid when the performance went down.

The other WL campaign with 3 profitable days has an even higher bid, did you compare placements between that campaign and the others as well?

Yes, these screenshots are from the same campaign.
I have updated the BL campaign cost in the first day. It causes the difference CPC in the tracker. I'm sorry for not explaining this situation.
The profitable WL campaign has only one placement.

Yes, they are from exactly one BL campaign. I just cannot figure out what's wrong on the BL campaign. A green campaign never converts on the second day but the offer is still alive. I have never meet that situation yet.

Well, the problem is that even the green days are only very low in terms of conversions.

With such low numbers it´s very easy to have hefty swings in performance.

One question though, when you create a new BL campaign and it converts on the first day but not on the second day - do you keep it running then or do you stop it?

When you keep it running, does it send more conversions later or doesn´t it recover at all anymore?

But again, it´s hard to make final decisions based on so low numbers.

I have stopped that BL campaign on the third day.
But my AM recommended me this offer again when I asked the top offers.So I created a new BL campaign to test this offer again. And the performance seems good.
