Joined STM three different times, and never got over the hump of making money I did the vortex guide last year and found it to be outdated. I did the $1 course and got some conversions, but didn't get a profit.
I signed up for maxbounty and click bank and want to get into CPA ads via social networks. I am so overwhelmed. Don't know where to start, I feel like I'm wasting so much time running around in circles. I wanted to learn affiliate marketing since 2016, but never got the ball rolling and need to get over the hump. Anyone have advice on how I can get started?

You did the $1 guide already and didn´t make profit? - Do it again and start a follow along where you can get help
You know how to work with trackers and landers and all that stuff? - Do the 40 days guide and start a follow along
You want to run something different than pops? - Still do the 40 days guide first to learn the basics and move on then

Hey man, welcome (again) to the forum.
I can feel that you're frustrated and that's understood, but take in mind that affiliate marketing takes time.
One guide won't make you profitable, it takes years of practice, hard work, and even loss of money until you become a pro.
My first tip for you is to keep reading more guides and join some follow-alongs, if you don't understand something - don't be shy to ask!
Research the top advertising networks at the moment and talk to their support, you'd be surprised how much information you can pull out (for example top verticals, GEOs, recommended rates and pick your offer based on that information)
