What kind of blog posts ensure the maximum engagement with push traffic?

What kind of blog posts ensure the maximum engagement with push traffic? Is it the "how to", "question posts", or list posts? Any other suggestions for the best way to warm up the cold push traffic before making them sign up for the newsletter? Also, I had run a campaign without offering a lead magnet and spent about $0.50 per sign up for India. But I want to offer a lead magnet for those who sign up for my newsletter. Are there specific lead magnets that work well with push traffic?

So what do you want to build?

A: An unresponsive list with 1000s of subscribers to your newsletters, who won't give a shit about your emails
B: Targeted, responsive, highly engaged list of users who will care about your content and actually check out what you send them

In case of A: show them tits or cleavage, shock them, use clickbaitty titles... you will be shocked, 10 pics that will shock you, you wont believe...
In case of B: stay on subject with what you are actually going to do with the list, stay relevant, filter the traffic with ads that correspond with the topic of the newsletters...

Lead magnets will help to grow the audience faster, but again, stay on the subject, don't offer too much or else you will just get leads that want the freebie and won't care about the future communications.

As always... there is no best approach, you gotta test what works the best in your particular case. Tease them a bit, but don't overdo... offer some freebie, but don't overdo... be somewhat clickbaity, but don't overdo... know what I mean? To sum it up, don't chase the numbers, focus on quality, engagement, longevity and the final ROI !
