First of all I new to native ads. I've seen them around for years though. Anyway, as I'm looking at the landing page discussing a celebrity weight loss story and then a product recommendation... This is my analysis... a weight loss example...
I see that the celebrity story is to draw the reader in and the product recommendation does not mean or state clearly the the celebrity used the actual product to lose the weight. The product recommendation is there to imply that the user can get the same results by using the product.
So this applies to most nutra products i guess. This is my thinking. please clarify if I'm wrong.
Your assumption is correct. However, keep present that using celebrities without their written consent falls under most ad networks policy violation.
