Hi guys,
Would creating landing pages with Wordpress + Elementor + Caching Plugin and running the site through Cloudflare CDN can work for native advertising. You think there will be a loading speed problem?
Presently one on my landing page is getting 3.5 sec in gtmetrix and the same page got 1.20 sec in pingdom.
Appreciate your advise.
Usually Wordpress tends to be much heavier in terms of loading speeds when compared to simple html pages.
Besides that, you need to take in consideration security related issues. Due to its vulnerabilities, Wordpress websites are often good targets for traffic stealing scripts that can lead to pretty hard to deal with situations. And that without considering vulnerabilities caused by plugins.
With that being said, better go for static landers. You gain on both loading speed as well as security. If you need a wordpress alike editor, you can check out LanderLab.io
btw. is that lander builder really FREE? what's the catch?
I wonder how many visitors or traffic a lander can handle? 100,000 per month? or more?
IMO you should create a static HTML template and host it on amazon s3 or similar static website hosting. Wordpress is too heavy for what you need to host a simple landing page.
I'm currently using landerlab because of how easy they make it to get your sites up and running.
I would also say Landerlab is the way to go
I've never seen anyone on native using Wordpress for basic landing pages.
I use Clickfunnels for a lot of stuff since I've used it forever and it allows me to iterate and test stuff extremely quickly (and I like designing my pages from the ground up rather than ripping them), but Clickfunnels is slower too (though not as bad as wordpress).
As far as I'm concerned Landerlab is the best choice by far (especially given that it is still free as of right now).
