Are there restriction on what we can post on our blog?
There are lots of restrictions on Facebook advertising, especially when it comes to adult contents, gambling, and the like. But when it comes to Google does it view such contents badly and deindexes pages/websites with improper contents? I bet I will find lots of contents on these when I enter the keywords on Google. But to stay safe, are there any real restrictions on what we can post on our blog(s)? For sure mainstream paid traffic won't allow links pointing to such blogs.

So what are you asking about?
1. organic google index
But when it comes to Google does it view such contents badly and deindexes pages/websites with improper contents?
OR
2. paid traffic sources
For sure mainstream paid traffic won't allow links pointing to such blogs.
These are two completely different things with completely different rules.

I am asking about organic traffic. Do they have rules like mainstream paid traffic? Can a site get deindexed from google or a youtube channel banned for certain kinds of contents? Pinterest seems to have lots of rules in place even for its organic traffic - as strict as paid traffic.

Well, as for the organic index, google indexes almost anything, but of course they do have some areas that they won't index or let's say they won't list it in SERPs... it can be either illegal content (such as drug dealing, illegal pornography etc... you know the really bad things) OR harmful content (mallware, sites with viruses on it...).
And then there are several mechanisms that people can use to get something de-listed from the index... copyright claims, intelectual property, privacy concerns etc...
On top of this, google (and other search engines) use tons of criteria to rank sites, once these algos determine that you're trying to manipulate the search results, they can either penalize or ban your site from the search results. So for example, if you keep on repeating the same keywords in your copy (keyword stuffing) it will likely cause your sites to disappear from the SERPs or at least make them sink down to some deep page, which pretty much equals to being banned.
So basically, unless you're posting some illegal content, google will index you, but the position in the SERPs will depend on how you present your content.

@matuloo Thanks! They seem to be fine with sexual contents, gambling, cryptos, etc. even though they don't seem to allow paid advertising around these topics. Or do they? For sure Facebook does not allow. But I haven't used Bing or Google. Do these platforms allow? Bing is a bit lenient. And both I think have a number where I can call and ask...

Indeed, they index content that they don't allow to be advertised via google ads, been like that for a long time already.
Check this page to see what verticals/products are allowed to be advertised on google ads (paid traffic) and which ones are banned :
